14 years ago today my beautiful mother died and went home to be with Jesus. She was a remarkable woman. She and my Dad blessed me and my siblings with the best childhood ever. Dad blessed us by loving Mom for a lifetime. Even at 94 he continues to visit her grave to place fresh flowers and to reflect on a lifetime of happiness with Mom. One day, I will see her again because of our shared hope in Jesus.

Good to be back home from an amazing trip to Brazil where our missions and men’s ministries held the second of our five global Men of Courage Summits. Excited to be back with my Band of Fathers. Grateful for these brothers and our commitment to do life in community with one another because alone is dangerous.

Grateful to have Ceci Muñoz and Yoel Perez on our missions summer intern team. They leave for Alaska on Thursday to serve with GraceWorks, our partner in Anchorage. Excited about the weeks ahead for our interns as they serve the interests of the kingdom.

Brazil Men of Courage Team in Sao Paolo and headed back to the States. Grateful for our team, our partners, and for the opportunity to talk with 650 men about embracing God’s vision for biblical manhood.
