  1. Omar! You never cease to amaze me. You are truly my hero. All the villagers are laughing. It seems like they are thinking, “Omar, the joke is on you!”

Love this photo, Omar. Keep them coming.

    • Thanks, Jeff. It was a fun experience. They had never seen a foreigner in their village and so they followed us everywhere, including the barber shop. Now I know how famous people feel when the paparazzi follows them around and records their every move. 🙂

That’s my friend Dr. Jerry Squyres looking on. He is the founder of Innovative Mission Opportunities and the guy who introduced me to Bangladesh.

  2. Is that me…with all that hair…watching my friend risk his life???

    • You did have a lot of hair in those days. Even I had more hair back then. And, yes, that is your rookie friend risking his life! Oh the joys of our younger years of travel.

  3. lets face it dad, your hair was thin then and it’s thin now…i look forward to the day you rock papas hairstyle:)

    • Looking forward to the day I can sing with Larry the Cucumber … “Oh where is my hairbrush?”

  4. This looks great!!

  5. Hello Omar,
I check in on your world adventures for Jesus regularly and I am always inspired by your stories. Thanks for being a good example of how to reach the nations. Tonya LaTorre (as always your photos are fantastic)

    • Thanks, Tonya. Sure do miss the LaTorre family. Regards to all.
