Nice recognition this morning by Bonnie Holland Elementary for our helping to beautify their landscaping during Caring for Katy. Andrew and Marianne Parrish and the Disciples Community Group did a great job at BHE during CFK. We love serving our community.

Our Amazon team is headed to Colombia and then on to Brazil where they will venture down the Javari River to serve the Kanamari people deep in the western basin of the Amazon. Please keep our team in your prayers as they go beyond to take the good news to those living on the ragged edges.

500 men attended tonight’s Kingsland’s Men’s Spring Summit. Wonderful night of fellowship, worship, and encouragement. Powerful and convicting message by Brad Flurry — reminding men that alone is dangerous and why we must do life in community with other men.

My friend and Kingsland missions partner Mark Slone stopped by for a visit. Mark and his wife are involved in theological education in Uganda. Their curriculum includes a course on empowering marriages. Gave Mark copies of “Restore the Table” for their staff in Uganda. Grateful for the good work Mark and Marchelle are doing for the kingdom.
